Based on recommendations of the public health officials and medical societies we are implementing the following safety measures to ensure your as well as our staff safeties during these challenging times. We understand that nothing in life is risk free but we believe that by following these guidelines we significantly reduce the risks.
Although we all must practice social distancing and follow preventive measures such as frequent hand washing and wearing protective face covering in public, for the 14 days prior to your scheduled procedure you MUST inform your health care provider:
(a) if you are COVID -19 positive or have any symptoms consistent with it such as fever, chills, muscle aches, soar throat or loss of sense of smell or taste.
(b) if you have had any close contact with a COVID-19 positive or suspected positive person.
At least 3 days prior to your scheduled procedure you must be tested for COVID-19. While awaiting the result you should consider self isolation:
(a) if your result is negative, we will proceed with the procedure. Our office will contact you with the details of the process of coming to our office to ensure your safety.
(b) if you test positive, your procedure will be rescheduled with details to follow.
i) if you are sympathetic you should contact your health care provider or go to emergency room
ii) if you are asymptomatic you should stay home, self isolate, and discuss options with your health care provider.
IF YOU ARE NOT TESTED OR DO NOT HAVE DOCUMENTED NEGATIVE TEST RESULT PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED PROCEDURE, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELED FOR YOUR, OTHER PATIENTS , AND OUR STAFF SAFETY.
